My first holiday without my mum and dad and sisters.

Dear readers,

You may note that there hasn’t been a Pricey’s place for some time.

This is because I have been busy booking, preparing for, going on and subsequently reflecting on my holiday. I decided I needed a holiday because I have been working quite hard on my blog (amongst other endeavors) and the pressure was starting to build up. The final straw was getting only 92% on this quiz:

I went to the travel agent and booked a trip to Ayia Napa. I had considered taking my friend, or my recently acquired club mate, but both of them were unavailable for the fortnight. The whole trip cost me a cool £799.

Bargain.

On the plane I listened to meat is murder on repeat, got through 7 plays. A lady in a uniform repeatedly asked me to turn off my Ipod as it was allegedly interfering with the planes' instruments, but I made an executive decision: Morrisey > Safety of others.
For the first few nights I mostly stayed in reading my poems. I tried to read them from different perspectives, but I found that I got into it a bit much and upset myself when I was reading from the perspective of a Jewish gentleman in 1942 Poland.

Because of this I thought I had better go out. I headed to the nearest bar. I had originally misinterpreted what type of bar it was and arrived in a full suit (inc. waistcoat, top hat and cane). Luckily though I always carry a spare pair of skinny jeans & indie  t-shirt wherever I go.

This is always a wise thing to do. For instance, one time I was wearing an arctic monkeys Tee & saw a babe in a denim jacket wearing a Kings of Leon Tee, within minutes I had located a bathroom to change in and was then wearing my Kings of Leon shirt. I was then safe in the knowledge that if I saw aforementioned babe again we would have something to talk about. I didn't see her again, but that's not the point.

I left the bar at around 12 because people kept trying to talk to me whilst I was creating beautiful poetry. Got to bed around 4 after writing the first half of my next creation.
That night someone broke in to my room and pissed on my bed.

After that mishap I was ready to leave.

I consider the holiday a success, even though I came home a week early and it cost me in excess of £1000. I got a lot of writing done and really had a lot of time to find myself. Also, loads of people saw me doing my "angsty teen" look. Most importantly I acquired this ILL tattoo:

That's all from me until next time friends.

Don't forget to join my facebook group.

Yours,
